Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver

As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol Driver in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support a professional presence through strong customer service and communication. - Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting activity and communicating with site leadership and/or public agencies as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with post orders, helping to support security-related protocols for employees, visitors, and/or contractors.
- Carry authorized firearms and related equipment in accordance with post orders, training, and applicable laws while maintaining professional conduct during patrols and incident response.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
