Security Officer Patrol Job in Dallas, Texas

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle yards, docks, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and support authorized entry and exit procedures for employees, visitors, contractors, and transport personnel.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
