As a Security Officer- Tech/Media Screener in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.

As a Screener in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom environment, you will play a vital role in helping to maintain a secure and welcoming atmosphere for everyone on site. Your responsibilities will include monitoring access points, verifying credentials, and conducting thorough screening procedures to help deter unauthorized entry and security-related incidents. You will interact with a diverse range of individuals, providing outstanding customer service while upholding the highest standards of professionalism. Your ability to utilize technology, such as computers or tablets, will support your daily tasks and contribute to a seamless experience for visitors and staff. Pay Rate: $21.16 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding appropriately to situations as they arise.
• Screen individuals entering the location, verifying credentials and/or identification as required by site protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, engaging emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity within the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or irregularities according to site and Allied Universal guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, providing information and assistance as needed.
• Collaborate with site personnel and/or law enforcement as required by incident response protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
