Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Role

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Role in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this dynamic role, you will support daily operations with a caring, agile, and reliable approach, working as part of a team that values innovation and integrity.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with property management and/or emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, verifying access permissions when required and assisting with visitor inquiries, directions, and general property-related concerns.
- Support daily operations by preparing reports, maintaining post records, and reporting maintenance issues, hazards, and/or policy concerns to the appropriate contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
