Security Officer - Warehouse

Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access, screen people and/or items, and support daily security-related operations with professionalism and care. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and facility personnel by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Screen individuals, packages, and/or personal property entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details to site leadership and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Monitor access points, shipping and receiving areas, and other designated locations to help support authorized entry and help to deter prohibited items or unauthorized activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as assigned, noting unusual conditions and documenting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
