As a patrol armed officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic retail environment. Your visible presence will support a secure atmosphere for all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and patrons by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe for unusual conditions.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to clients and visitors in the retail environment.
• Report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or unauthorized individuals, to the appropriate personnel.
• Interact professionally with all individuals at the location, providing assistance and information as requested.
• Remain alert and prepared to respond to any security-related incidents or emergencies as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Must possess a Level III Armed Certification if applying in Texas.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
