As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols and visible presence checks, helping to discourage security-related incidents while supporting tenants, visitors, and staff. This is a driving post, so a valid driver’s license is required. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and respond to needs with a people-first approach, acting with integrity and teamwork.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with de-escalation and contacting law enforcement and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial property areas and the perimeter, including parking areas, common areas, and exterior walkways, while observing for unusual activity and/or hazards to report.
• Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit for vehicles and pedestrians in accordance with site policies, including verifying credentials, issuing visitor directions, and/or assisting with contractor check-in.
• Complete routine security-related reports and required documentation, including incident reports, patrol activity logs, and/or maintenance concern notifications, using written and/or electronic systems.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, and/or other site personnel to relay observations, coordinate responses, and support daily operations.
• Operate and/or monitor site equipment such as radios, phones, and other communication tools, and report malfunctions or concerns through the proper channels.
• Assist with security-related coverage during special site conditions such as after-hours activity, deliveries, and/or building systems issues, following post orders and supervisor guidance.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card/License is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
