As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Role in Dayton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, access guidelines, and emergency response activities for a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, parking areas, loading areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report security-related concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help support loss prevention efforts, observe suspicious behavior, and report policy violations or hazards.
- Assist with de-escalation during customer and/or employee concerns, provide directions and information, and support orderly operations during busy business periods.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
