Security Officer Patrol Monitor

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a hotel and resort setting.
- Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, amenities, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unwanted activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, visitor activity, and property areas in support of hotel operations, offering directions and assistance while following post orders and security-related protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
