Security Officer Patrol Unit

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Unit in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage incidents, and support access awareness with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor logs, deliveries, and/or vehicle entry activity in accordance with site protocols to help support authorized access within the location.
- Communicate clearly with site personnel, visitors, and/or first responders during routine operations and emergency situations, while completing required reports and maintaining awareness of changing conditions across the property.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
