What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production-adjacent areas, administrative spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials for authorized personnel and/or visitors, and support access control processes in accordance with site protocols.
- Complete detailed activity logs, incident reports, and shift communications, and observe posted instructions related to restricted areas, equipment zones, and operational procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A TSA issued TWIC is required.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
