Security Officer -Health Care Patrol

DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMFri06:00 AM - 06:00 PMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and common areas, help to control entry and exit activity, and report policy violations, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Support a professional atmosphere by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with de-escalation during routine operations and/or high-traffic periods.
Minimum Requirements:
- Hospital vaccines are required.
- Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes the morgue.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
