As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You may support hospital operations in sensitive areas while responding professionally to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and appropriate emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency services when needed.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, support access-control procedures, and report unauthorized entry, suspicious behavior, and/or security-related concerns to site leadership.
- Prepare accurate activity, incident, and shift reports, documenting observations and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue.
- Must be able to restrain individuals.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
