Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer serving commercial real estate and residential locations, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness and customer interactions. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, tenants, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures, property rules, and appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or public emergency responders when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential and commercial property locations, including common areas, parking areas, exterior grounds, and perimeter points.
- Monitor access to buildings and amenities, observe for unusual activity and/or maintenance concerns, and report security-related issues according to site procedures.
- Complete routine logs, incident reports, and shift activity documentation, and support a professional presence that may help to deter unwanted behavior.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
