Security Officer Access Control Job in Denison, Texas

As a Security Officer Access Control in Denison, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify access credentials, monitor visitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees and guests. Through professional communication, visible presence, and attention to site procedures, you will help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor access points at an industrial manufacturing location; verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials; issue and collect access badges; and maintain accurate entry records.
- Control vehicle and pedestrian access at gates and designated entrances, following site procedures for deliveries, shipments, and restricted areas.
- Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site policy.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized access and report unusual conditions.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
