Security Officer Financial Corporate Center Job in Denver, Colorado

As a Security Officer Financial Corporate Center in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a commercial real estate location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of commercial office buildings, common areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; document observations and actions in accordance with site procedures.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and building-related inquiries, and report unauthorized access attempts or suspicious activity.
- Communicate with Allied Universal leadership, property management, and/or local responders as directed to support security-related operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- Hold CPR and First Aid certification, preferred.
- Have customer service experience, preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
