As a Security Officer - Truck Gate in Denver, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Allied Universal team member in a retail location, you will be responsible for access control, monitoring entrances and exits, and helping to deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming environment for customers and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the retail location.
• Monitor access points to help control entry and exit of individuals in accordance with established protocols for retail environments.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal guidelines and site-specific instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized persons, to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist in managing crowd control during busy periods and/or special events within the retail setting as needed.
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident logs as required by Allied Universal and the site.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and employees while maintaining a visible presence throughout the assigned location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
