As a Security Bank Officer Armed in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading financial institution, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this dynamic location, you will support access awareness, observe activity, and communicate clearly while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related activities at a financial institution location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including lobby areas, offices, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Monitor access points and observe visitor and employee movement in accordance with site policies, reporting suspicious behavior, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
- Complete required reports and activity logs related to patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in a timely and accurate manner.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Must have a valid State of Michigan CPL
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
