Security Officer - Resident Patrol

As a Security Officer - Residential Patrol Full-Time in Diamond Bar, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a strong presence throughout the location. You will interact professionally with residents and guests, providing excellent customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide quality customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential community and along its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and promote a welcoming environment for authorized individuals.
• Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, suspicious activity, or maintenance needs, according to outlined protocols.
• Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local emergency responders when appropriate during emergency response activities.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential disturbances and foster a sense of security-related awareness within the community.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
