As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout the premises. Your presence will support a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors, while you respond to incidents, interact with the public, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations on site in a calm and problem-solving manner, while following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and provide a visible security-related presence.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials as needed, and reporting any suspicious activity.
• Collaborate with retail staff to address potential loss prevention concerns and support store operations.
• Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal and the client site.
• Support a welcoming environment for guests and employees by maintaining a professional demeanor during all interactions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
