As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment. Your presence will be visible throughout the location, providing support and reassurance to visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a positive environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify any unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activities to assist in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for clients, employees, and visitors.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required by site protocols.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences encountered during patrols.
• Offer guidance and assistance to customers, employees, and visitors as needed while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
