As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed - Entrance Operations in Duncan, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points and alarm systems, help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through professional customer service and communication. Use your computer, tablet, badge access, and alarm panel skills while working with a reliable, innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual conditions and support a professional presence.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify visitor and contractor access in accordance with site policies; and maintain accurate activity records.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency services as needed.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities using required reporting tools, and communicate relevant information during shift handoffs.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
