Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol

As a Security Officer Mobile Driver Patrol in Dundalk, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a busy retail location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will support a welcoming environment through strong communication, customer service, teamwork, and integrity while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to each shift.

- Provide customer service to visitors, associates, and/or vendors by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols throughout the retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or emergency personnel when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and document incidents, policy concerns, and/or suspicious behavior according to post instructions.
- Support closing and opening activities, assist with crowd and/or line monitoring during busy periods, and help maintain an orderly environment throughout the location.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
