This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with AU Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the chemical and petrochemical facility, grounds, perimeter, and designated access points to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Observe and report facility irregularities, potential hazards, damaged equipment, and suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergency response activities in a calm, problem-solving manner and complete required reports.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
