Security Officer Access Control Job in Eagle Mountain, Utah

As a Security Officer Access Control in Cedar Fort, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor visitor activity, and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at a food production location.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate entry and exit records for personnel, vehicles, and deliveries.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as required.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, production-area perimeters, parking areas, and exterior grounds to help identify unauthorized access, unusual activity, and facility policy concerns.
- Support food production operations by following applicable site hygiene, personal protective equipment, and restricted-area requirements while performing assigned duties.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
