Security Officer Access Screening

As a Security Officer Access Screening in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor badge activity, and support security-related protocols. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Guided by our agile, reliable, and innovative team culture, you will put people first, work with integrity, and help to deter incidents through teamwork.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification steps, and security-related policies at the location.
- Monitor and control entry and exit points for employees, contractors, guests, and vehicles, helping to limit unauthorized access to loading, shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation related to visitor activity, vehicle traffic, packages, and security-related incidents and/or unusual activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, dock areas, trailer yards, parking locations, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
