As a Security Officer Access Screening in Earth City, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor badge activity, and support security-related protocols. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by following site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification steps, and security-related policies at the location.
- Monitor and control entry and exit points for employees, contractors, guests, and vehicles, helping to limit unauthorized access to loading, shipping, receiving, and warehouse areas.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation related to visitor activity, vehicle traffic, packages, and security-related incidents and/or unusual activity.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, dock areas, trailer yards, parking locations, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
