You will greet associates and visitors, verify credentials, manage badges, and monitor entry points to help maintain controlled site access. You will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and communicate clearly with site leadership. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at employee, visitor, and vendor entry points by confirming authorization, reviewing identification, and following established check-in and check-out processes.
• Manage visitor and contractor processing, including logging entries, issuing temporary badges and/or passes, and providing site-specific directions and rules.
• Support gate operations for a logistics and distribution location by coordinating driver check-in, verifying shipment and/or appointment information as directed, and maintaining orderly vehicle flow.
• Monitor security-related alarms, cameras, and access control systems, and communicate issues to site contacts and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, checking doors, docks, trailer areas, and other assigned locations. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Complete routine reports and required documentation such as shift logs, access logs, incident reports, and property or equipment notes in a clear and timely manner.
• Assist with investigations of security-related events by preserving observations, maintaining chain of information as directed, and providing statements to authorized personnel.
• Support emergency procedures such as evacuations, severe weather response, and medical calls by following post orders and coordinating with responding personnel.
• Maintain a professional presence and communicate courteously with employees, drivers, visitors, and vendors while enforcing site rules and de-escalating issues when possible.
• Report facility maintenance and operational concerns that could impact access control or site operations, such as damaged fencing, malfunctioning doors, or lighting outages.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
