As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and by maintaining a visible presence at a logistics and distribution location. You will monitor access points, check credentials, and assist with badge procedures, providing outstanding customer service while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying identification and credentials of employees, visitors, and vendors.
• Monitor entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.
• Assist with the enforcement of site-specific policies and procedures related to access control.
• Provide customer service by answering questions and assisting individuals as they enter or exit the premises.
• Report and document any access control violations, incidents, or concerns in a timely manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to observe for security-related concerns.
• Support emergency response activities as directed by site management and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and/or badge management experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
