As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas, providing a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role involves routine patrols, clear communication, and excellent customer service to all visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at the government location.
• Monitor and coordinate communications related to incidents, emergencies, and routine activities from a centralized dispatch post.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, relaying information to the appropriate personnel as needed.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of calls, incidents, and dispatch activities.
• Communicate with on-site personnel and law enforcement, fire, or medical responders as necessary to support incident resolution.
• Assist in the coordination of regular and random patrols by field personnel around the location and its perimeter.
• Utilize dispatch systems, radios, and/or other communication tools to relay information and instructions efficiently.
• Support the implementation of site-specific protocols and procedures, adapting to the unique needs of a government environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an Associates Degree or 60 College Credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or License is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
