What You'll Do:

• Monitor and dispatch security-related personnel and resources in response to incidents and requests for assistance at the location.
• Operate communication equipment to coordinate with on-site teams and emergency responders as needed.
• Document and report all security-related activities, incidents, and dispatches in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures and protocols.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established guidelines.
• Maintain awareness of all activities and events occurring at the location to help to deter unauthorized or suspicious activity.
• Support Allied Universal and client staff by facilitating communication and information flow during routine operations and/or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Provide a DD214 with Honorable Discharge or an Associate’s Degree or 60 college credits or a Police Academy Certificate or a Corrections Academy Certificate.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
