As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Response in El Campo, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a busy retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, report suspicious activity, and/or document incidents involving customers, visitors, and store personnel.
- Support loss prevention and asset protection efforts by observing on-site activity, maintaining a visible presence, and communicating with local leadership and/or public responders when needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
