Armed Security Officer Campus Patrol Job in El Paso, Texas

As a ArmedSecurity Officer Campus Patrol in El Paso, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a dynamic campus technology environment, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming atmosphere for students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a technology-focused university location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, technology areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns through appropriate channels.
- Prepare clear and accurate activity reports and communicate professionally with campus personnel, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
