Security Officer - CRE Lobby Concierge

As a Security Officer - CRE Lobby Concierge in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will greet visitors, manage access points, verify credentials, and support badge and key control while documenting activity in security-related reports. You will be a visible, welcoming presence for tenants and guests, helping to deter unwanted activity through strong communication and attention to detail. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to building tenants, visitors, and vendors by following site-specific security-related procedures, access control requirements, and post orders at the front desk.
• Monitor lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and/or building communication systems; report irregular conditions and escalate concerns per protocol.
• Process visitor check-in and badging, validate identification as required, issue temporary credentials, and maintain accurate logs for entries, exits, packages, and keys as applicable.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications to property management and emergency services when directed by procedure.
• Complete routine documentation such as daily activity reports, incident reports, and shift pass-downs, and support emergency response activities consistent with site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Having a guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
