Security Officer Lobby Monitor Job in El Segundo, California

As a Security Officer Lobby Monitor in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a professional commercial real estate location as a Front Desk Security Officer, where you will welcome visitors, manage access, monitor activity, and support security-related procedures with strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a front desk location within a commercial real estate environment.
- Monitor lobby and front desk activity, greet visitors, assist with check-in procedures, and help to address access concerns in a calm and professional manner.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations with good judgment, clear communication, and a problem-solving approach.
- Answer phones, manage visitor logs and credentials, and communicate with building personnel regarding security-related questions, deliveries, and/or access requests.
- Support daily front desk operations by observing entry points, documenting relevant activity, and reporting concerns according to site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
