Security Officer Reception Console Specialist

As a Security Officer Reception Console Specialist in El Segundo, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will welcome tenants and visitors, manage access activities, and support daily security-related operations through strong communication and customer service. At Allied Universal, you will represent a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity while helping to create a professional and welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, front desk protocols, and security-related activities for a commercial real estate location.
- Greet and screen visitors, confirm appointments, issue access credentials, and maintain front desk logs in accordance with property policies and procedures.
- Answer phones, monitor lobby activity and/or entry points, and communicate with property management, tenants, and emergency contacts as needed.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following post orders and reporting guidelines.
- Support access control, package and delivery coordination, and other administrative and security-related duties assigned to the front desk post.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
