Security Officer with Active Clearance Patrol

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading aero and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a professional environment through strong communication and customer service. This role offers the chance to work with a team that is agile, reliable, and innovative, while putting people first and acting with integrity every day.

- Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
- Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through proper channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help identify unauthorized activity and/or irregular conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and support entry control procedures consistent with the needs of an aerospace and defense location.
- Support protection of sensitive property, equipment, and restricted areas by following post orders, observing site activity, and communicating security-related issues to supervisors and/or client contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
- An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
