Security Officer Patrol Food Processing Plant

As a Security Officer Patrol and Access Control in Elizabethtown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a busy food processing plant, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support tenants and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, work collaboratively with your team, and lead with integrity in a people-first culture.

- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, maintenance concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating observations to property management and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, lobbies, and other assigned areas to help to deter unauthorized entry, support visitor processing, and follow post orders for the location.
- Support daily operations at a commercial real estate location by reporting hazards, assisting with directional information, and maintaining awareness of security-related concerns across the property.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
