As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver in Elizabethtown, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer in a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, and/or the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, or unauthorized access.
- Monitor entry and exit points, check credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and/or vehicle activity in accordance with site guidelines.
- Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including following post orders, assisting with evacuations, and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
