As a Security Guard - Healthcare Site - Weekdays in Elkton, MD, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies relevant to the healthcare environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with healthcare staff as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter prohibited items and unauthorized access.
• Document and report security-related incidents, unusual observations, and maintenance concerns according to Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
• Assist with access control procedures, verifying identification as required by site policy.
• Support emergency response efforts and follow established protocols for healthcare environments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
