As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol X Ray Screening in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity and professionalism. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, access points, building interiors, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to the location by verifying authorized personnel, visitor, and vehicle entry in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
- Document patrols, observations, incidents, and irregular conditions accurately and promptly in required reports or electronic reporting systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Loss prevention experience is preferred.
- X-ray screening experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
