Security Officer Visitor Authorization Driver Job in Ellenwood, Georgia

As a Security Officer Visitor Authorization Driver in Ellenwood, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Access Control Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity at a county location. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate access-related records.
- Respond to access-control incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Report observed hazards, unauthorized access attempts, damaged access-control equipment, and other security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
