Security Officer - Community Patrol

As a Security Officer - Community Patrol in Englewood, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will serve as the welcoming front desk presence, helping residents, guests, and staff with access support, visitor check-in, and clear communication on security-related matters. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and/or visitors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a residential location.
- Monitor front desk activity, greet incoming individuals, verify identification and/or visitor information, and help to support authorized entry in accordance with property policies.
- Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with property management and/or public emergency services when appropriate.
- Answer phones, manage visitor logs, receive deliveries, and help to maintain awareness of front desk operations and other security-related matters within the community.
- Observe and report unusual activity, policy-related issues, and/or maintenance concerns that may impact residents, guests, or common areas.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have supervisory experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
