Security Officer - Healthcare Location

- Provide customer service by following site-specific screening protocols, access procedures, and security-related policies at a healthcare location.
- Screen patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors at designated entry points while communicating clearly and professionally about site requirements.
- Respond to incidents, elevated concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity through appropriate channels.
- Monitor entrances, waiting areas, and other assigned posts for security-related concerns, helping to deter unauthorized access and/or disruptive behavior.
- Complete required logs, screening records, and incident documentation accurately and in a timely manner according to site expectations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a hospital morgue environment.
- Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
