What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing details with site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or potential concerns.
- Monitor entrances, lobbies, waiting areas, and other healthcare-related locations for suspicious activity, assist with visitor direction, and help support a professional environment.
- Support emergency codes, de-escalation efforts, and/or requests for assistance as directed by site procedures, while maintaining visible presence and clear communication with staff and first responders.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work in a hospital morgue environment is required.
- Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting is required.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
