Security Officer Assisted Patrol Job in Everett, Massachusetts

As a Security Officer Computer Assisted Patrol in Everett, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, help deter security-related incidents, and support access control activities. You will remain visible, provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and contribute to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate at a chemical and petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the facility, perimeter, access points, parking areas, and restricted areas to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access to the location by checking credentials, maintaining visitor logs, and directing authorized personnel, contractors, and deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Access control/badge experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
