As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving role combines customer service, communication, and security-related reporting while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-focused, and integrity-driven values.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients, visitors, contractors, and employees at a utilities location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access concerns according to site procedures.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, grounds, parking areas, perimeter areas, and critical utility infrastructure, reporting unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and complete required incident documentation.
- Help to deter unauthorized activity and support continuity of operations by observing and reporting suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, and policy violations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
