As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all occupants. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor for potential security-related risks and report any observed irregularities or incidents according to established protocols.
• Maintain awareness of the surroundings within the government location and communicate observations to Allied Universal management and onsite contacts as necessary.
• Support emergency response activities and participate in drills as required by the location's policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by law.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
