As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor entrances and exits at a bustling retail location, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized individuals in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner.
• Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations at the retail or mall location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business interior and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity, while observing for any security-related concerns.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities as required, following Allied Universal protocols and client instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
