Security Officer Armed Patrol - Days Job in Findlay, Ohio

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol - Days in Findlay, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. At a chemical and petrochemical location, an Armed Security Officer will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through professional communication and customer service. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical or petrochemical location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility buildings, access points, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor access control points and verify credentials, vehicle authorization, and visitor requirements in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
