Armed Security Officer Hospital Full Time Mornings Job in Fishersville, Virginia

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver in Fishersville, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an Armed Security Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, access points, and surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access to restricted areas and verify credentials or authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
- Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and promptly, and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
